Taking to Lorraine on Monday morning, the pair discussed Olivia's antics – including her romp – in the villa, and admitted that 'it's difficult to watch her'.

Leaping to her defence, Olivia's mother said that she thought that her daughter was 'not having a smooth ride,' and thought that producers were editing the footage to create the maximum amount of entertainment.

'She's not playing a game. It's all well-edited,' began the bombshell's mother.

'She s not the girl we know on screen. I know Olivia is a very loving girl, she has strong family values probably one of the kindest people we know- and that doesn t come across.'

Discussing the steamy scenes between Chris and Olivia aired on Sunday night, which saw her leaving viewers furious after stating that she needed to 'teach' him in the bedroom, Olivia's mother said:

'She was one of the last ones in the villa to do anything. She's 26 and there's a spark between them – it was bound to happen.'

Despite admitting she 'couldn't walk right' following their night of passion, Olivia told fellow islanders Montana and Amber that she felt no closer to the hunk since their romp – reasoning bluntly that she was 'not a virgin'.

'She has had loyalty issues from the past especially recently. Cheating has happened. Olivia is a Loyal person, and she's happy in permanent relationship – she doesn't go between boys.'

She also divulged Olivia's ultimate career goal: 'I think she wants a showbiz career. Well suited. Hilarious, her mind works so quick.'

Addressing circulating rumours that she just wants prize money, she added: 'If she went after prize money, she hasn t played a very good time. She hasn t made it easy for herself.'

Jonny Mitchell also took to the Good Morning Britain sofa to discuss his time in the villa, and admitted that he felt 'a little bit jealous' when he saw that his former partner Tyla Carr kissed resident heartthrob Mike Thalasstis – although he confessed that he wasn't 'too surprised'.

Piers Morgan decided to test Jonny's general knowledge, asking him who the chancellor of Germany was amongst other difficult questions – to which Jonny answered surprisingly well.

Piers then grilled Jonny about the show, stating 'Isn't it just a forum for complete dimwits?'
