City are to play three games in the United States, starting on July 20 when they face local rivals Manchester United in the very un-local location of Houston, Texas.

They then play a prestige friendly against Real Madrid in Los Angeles on July 26, before finishing up against another Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur, in Nashville three days later.

For such a challenging selection of pre-season fixtures, City are bringing the majority of their first team squad for the task.

Gabriel Jesus, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling were among the stars snapped arriving at the airport, as was another big money summer signing, goalkeeper Ederson.

Kevin de Bruyne shared a picture of Instagram taken from the plane, sat next to defender John Stones with Walker across the aisle.

The midfielder captioned the snap 'off we go with the Yorkshire boys', as the German showed the multinational nature of football with his friendship with the players from Barnsley and Sheffield.

One figure missing was Joe Hart, with the England goalkeeper set to join West Ham United on loan after a medical on Monday.
