Manchester City are closing in on a double deal to sign highly-rated Serbian brothers Luka and Ivan Ilic.

Negotiations for the capture of the siblings are at an advanced stage with City confident of having a deal wrapped up before the end of the week.

The Red Star Belgrade pair are expected to join the Etihad club before being loaned back to Red Star Belgrade for the next two seasons.

City will keep a close eye on their progress at Red Star ahead of their integration into life in Manchester.

Luka, 18, is a defensive midfielder and has represented Serbia U18's while brother is a 16 year old attacking midfielder.

Both have already made their senior debuts.
