The blonde bombshell was previously in R&B girl group Eternal with sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett and Kéllé Bryan between 1992 and 1995.

The starlet's pop comeback comes amid claims she is keen to end her marriage to Jamie Reknapp as soon as possible, with a quickie divorce.

According to the Sunday People, the singer and her footballer husband are 'no closer to getting back together', and want to call things off by the end of the year.

Louise's 19 year-marriage to Jamie reportedly broke down in July, due to her new 'lease of life' following her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

Having been seen at a number of glamorous events with a host of pals in recent weeks, including model Daisy Lowe, the paper now reports that the Eternal singer is keen for a quickie divorce, in order to further embrace her independence.

A source told the Sunday People: 'Louise wants to put steps in place to end her marriage to Jamie by the end of year.'

Jamie had been spotted with his band firmly on his finger at the star-studded GQ Awards on Tuesday, while Louise arrived at BBC Breakfast with hers visible on her hand the following day.

Louise has appeared in good spirits in recent weeks – putting her reported romantic woes aside on Friday to enjoy a relaxing girls' holiday abroad.

Posting from the getaway, Louise beamed while surrounded by her female companions in the sweet snap, shared to Instagram.

Appearing at ease, she wrote to fans: 'Can't beat a #sangria night with these lovely ladies!!!!!! #sun #friends.'

Reports have been swirling since July that the long-term couple, who share sons Charley, 12, and Beau, eight, have called off their marriage.

The pair have so far stayed quiet on the claims, but sources have alleged Louise has 'thrown away the rule book', after spending increasingly more time with her new best friend Daisy, whom she met on Strictly last year.

A source told MailOnline at the time: 'It's like Louise is rebelling against all the rules. With Jamie, her life had to revolve around his football schedule and it was always about him.

'Now it's like she thrown away the rule book, she can do what she wants! She loves her new life.'

However Daisy, who was heavily 'blamed' in part for the 'split', went on to defend her close relationship with Louise and her other female friends, by sharing a strong female empowerment message last month.

According to The Sun, the brunette wrote online: 'The best kind of friendships are fierce lady friendships where you aggressively believe in each other, defend each other and think the other deserves the world.'
